It is scheduled to premiere in Japan on March 20, 2026. This film, which celebrates the franchise's tenth anniversary, promises to be more than just a simple celebration. It will serve as a continuation of the original story, including episodes that were left out of the animated series due to time constraints, and will offer a fitting conclusion to this beloved saga.

New Content and the Return of the Original Creative Team

According to the author Yusei Matsui, the movie will include full episodes that could not be adapted in the previous anime series, which means that key, pending stories and moments will be explored. The return of the original creative team is also significant. Masaki Kitamura will direct the film, while Makoto Uezu will be in charge of the script. Aya Higami will handle the character design, and Lerche will produce the film, ensuring an experience that stays true to the spirit of the original work.

A Legacy of Growth, Compassion, and Humor

From its debut, "Assassination Classroom" stood out for its unique blend of comedy, action, and profound themes of personal growth and compassion. The series was not only entertaining with its unusual premise—a group of students tasked with assassinating their teacher, an alien who destroyed 70% of the moon—but it also explored themes like teamwork, self-improvement, and acceptance of differences. The return of Korosensei and his Class 3-E is more than just an event; it's an opportunity to reflect on the lasting impact of this unique story on anime and manga culture.
