One Piece Pirate Warriors 4: A New Era on Nintendo Switch 2 with Improved Graphics and More Enemies
The wait is over! During the recent Nintendo Direct presentation, Bandai Namco Entertainment stunned us by announcing that One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 will receive a new version for the highly anticipated Nintendo Switch 2, and it will be available this very fall! The universe created by Eiichiro Oda, with his manga published since 1997 in Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine and which already has more than 112 volumes, has transcended borders becoming a global phenomenon, and this new version seeks to capture that essence even better.
Next Gen Update: Improved Graphics and Epic Battles
The announcement came with a "Next Gen Update" trailer that showed us what to expect from this new version. Get ready because the improvement in graphics is notable, with more detailed textures, improved lighting, and impactful visual effects that will bring the world of One Piece to life like never before. This update will allow us to appreciate even more the artistic work behind the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy and his crew, the Straw Hat Pirates, in their search for the legendary treasure "One Piece".
But that's not all: the "Next Gen Update" also promises a significant increase in the number of enemies that can appear on screen simultaneously, which translates into even more epic and chaotic battles, true to the essence of the Pirate Warriors games.
Availability and Free Update
The Nintendo Switch 2 version is scheduled for release this fall, although an exact date has not yet been revealed. Players who already own the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One versions will be able to update to the new version for free.
