Night of the Living Cat is a crazy story about the end of the world, but not just any old one. We're talking about an end of the world brought about by the most beloved and adorable being in the world: kittens. Thousands of cats have taken over major cities, and with their great tenderness, they've managed to subdue humans who can't resist the temptation of petting them and are turned into cats by a strange virus that has unleashed a large-scale pandemic.

The authorities are completely unaware of how the outbreak of the disease began, and it seems their efforts to control the situation are very limited, in a world where 90% of the population is cat lovers. The only possible salvation is to stay hidden and flee as fast as you can, or be caught by the clutches of the most adorable monsters in existence.

Protagonist:

Kunagi

The main protagonist, after suffering from memory loss and falling unconscious in a dark alley, was rescued by Kaoru and taken in by her brother Gaku's cat cafe, where she works. Despite having no memory of his past, Kunagi possesses extensive knowledge of cats and perfectly understands how to live with them, as well as highly developed physical abilities that even he himself doesn't fully understand.

Review of Nyaight of the Living Cat

Nyaight of the Living Cat is a very unique twist on apocalyptic stories. Its approach feels fresh, and despite having a slightly more comedic tinge, it seems like it could be a good story to pass the time, especially if you're a big fan of kittens. The main mystery can hook you in and make you want to know how it all ended this way.

As a fan of the zombie genre, this anime completely caught my attention. While it's a genre that's been overused, it's nice to find offerings like these, which feel like a breath of fresh air for the genre. Currently, only two episodes have been released, and honestly, I'm eager to find out what's next for our protagonists and I highly recommend it for a fun time.
