Opinion of The New Gate
About The new gate there is something that I really have to highlight and that is that the animation does not do justice to the story. Even though it is an isekai that we can find so many, the story and the universe they posed has an interesting approach. You want to really get to know the world that Shin left 500 years ago and how he sees the changes.
But when you try to stay for the plot and history, the animation really takes away the desire, so we reviewed the manga. And it really surprised us the change is from heaven to earth so if the story of The New Gate liked the best is to go to the manga to be able to enjoy it as it was truly conceived by the author. That said the character design changes quite a bit between the manga and anime, so don't be surprised at what you see.
