Last Sunday, July 2nd, while the Anime Expo 2023 was taking place, to no one's surprise, the previously seen trailer for the animated special Fate/Strange Fake -Whispers of Dawn- was shown, which will be premiering this summer. However, at the end of the aforementioned trailer, an unexpected announcement about the television anime based on the light novels of Fate/strange Fake, written by Ryohgo Narita and illustrated by Morii Shizuki, was added.

The animation studio A-1 Pictures, and part of the staff already in charge of the Fate/Strange Fake -Whispers of Dawn- animated special, are involved. For this anime for A-1 Pictures, Shun Enokido and Takahito Sakazume are directors, Daisuke Daito is the screenwriter, and Yukei Yamada is chief animation director as well as character designer. Finally, Hiroyuki Sawano is in charge of the soundtrack composition.

Let's remember the synopsis of this upcoming Fate/strange Fake anime:
The story centers on a Holy Grail War poorly copied from the Third Holy Grail War in Fuyuki. After the end of the third Holy Grail War, an organization in the United States that has magicians separated from the Mage Association based in London as members took data from the Fuyuki Holy Grail War and planned their own ritual. After seventy years, they used the city Snowfield as a Sacred Land for their own Holy Grail War. They were unable to successfully copy all aspects of the ritual, leading it to act only as an imitation that has lost the Saber class and allowed the invocation of strange Servants due to the definition of "hero" being blurred.
The Mage Association sent Rohngall and his pupil, Faldeus, to investigate the city and the state of the war. Faldeus, a spy from the American organization, shot Rohngall upon arrival, despite knowing that Rohngall was merely a puppet. He announces that their Holy Grail War has been in development and is real, causing a stir at Clock Tower and wishing to "announce" the project to the Association.
