The highly anticipated second season of the anime "Chained Soldier" (Mato Seihei no Slave) now has a release date set for January 2026. A New Creative Team Takes the Reins
The second season of "Chained Soldier" features a major production change. The Seven Arcs studio and directors Junji Nishimura and Goro Kuji from the first season have been replaced. Now, Masafumi Tamura (known for directing The World's Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in Another World as an Aristocrat) will lead the project in collaboration with Passione and Hayabusa Film.
In addition to the change in studios, Keiya Nakano (AOKANA: Four Rhythm Across the Blue, Loner Life in Another World, Keijo!!!!!!!!) will be handling character designs, promising a refreshed aesthetic for the series.
