On Friday, the official website for theSeason 2ofGoblin Slayer, revealed a new image and the exact premiere date, which takes place starting nextOctober 6th of this year.
Goblin Slayeris based on light novels written byKumo Kagyuand illustrated byNoboru Kannatsuki, which are published under the labelGA BunkoofSB Creative.
The brilliance ofGoblin Slayercomes from its uninhibited goal of highlighting the savagery of goblins, thus forcing the audience to immediately empathize with low-level adventurers who lost their lives at the hands of disgusting green creatures.
New image for Goblin Slayer Season 2 premiere
In the new key image, we can see the goblin hunter alongside Onna and Elf. The image reveals two characters: the Lizard Priest and the Dwarf Shaman.
It was also announced thatMiliwill be in charge of performing the opening for this new season. The theme is titled «Entertainment». On the other hand, the ending will be performed byYuki Nakashimaand will be titled «Kasumi no Muko e».
Goblin Slayer T2will be broadcast legally in Latin America through theCrunchyroll.
Unlike the first season in 2018, this new season is directed byMisato Takada(Saiyuki Reload Zeroin) along with Hiromi Katou (ID-0) as character designer andLIDENFILMSas production studio for the animation. The director of the first season,Takaharu Ozaki, participates as chief director, while the composer and screenwriter of the seriesHideyuki Kurataand the musical composerKenichirou Suehiroresume their roles.

Synopsis of Goblin Slayer
Goblins are known for their ferocity, cunning, and rapid reproduction, but their reputation as the lowest monsters leads to their threat being overlooked. Assaulting rural civilizations to kidnap females of other species for breeding, these vile creatures are free to continue their attack while adventurers turn a blind eye in favor of more rewarding tasks with higher rewards. To commemorate her first day as a Porcelain-ranked adventurer, the 15-year-old Priestess joins a group of young and enthusiastic novices to investigate a tribe of goblins responsible for the disappearance of several women from the village. Without preparation or experience, the group soon faces their inevitable demise due to an ambush while exploring a cave.
With no one else left standing, the terrified Priestess accepts her fate - until the Goblin Slayer unexpectedly appears not only to rescue her with little effort but also to destroy the entire goblin nest. As holder of the prestigious Silver rank, the Goblin Slayer allows her to accompany him as he attends the Adventurer’s Guild on all matters related to goblins. Along with the Priestess, the High Elf, Dwarf and Lizard Man, the armored warrior will not rest until all the goblins in the borderlands have been eradicated forever.
