Fans of "Hana-Kimi," the wait is over! The highly anticipated anime (“Hana Zakari no Kimi-tachi e”), based on the late Hisaya Nakajo's shōjo manga, has finally revealed its creative team and voice cast. To celebrate, Episode 1 had a world premiere last Saturday at Anime NYC.

If you're not familiar with it, "Hana-Kimi" follows Mizuki Ashiya, a U.S. track-and-field star. To get closer to her idol, Izumi Sano, she moves to Japan and enrolls in his school. The only catch is... it's an all-boys' school! Mizuki cleverly disguises herself as a boy, which gets her into a ton of fun and complicated situations. The original manga (1996-2004) was so popular it had several live-action adaptations in Japan, Taiwan, and South Korea.
