This season is titled: "Tokyo Revengers: Tenjiku Arc" (Tenjiku Arc). This corresponds to the penultimate arc of the manga written byKen Wakui.
The adaptation is in charge of the studioLiden Filmsand the theme "Say My Name" by the groupHEY-SMITHwill be the official opening of this anime.
Synopsis of Tokyo Revengers
Takemichi Hanagaki, a 26-year-old young man with no great goals in his life, discovers one day that his former high school girlfriend, Hinata Tachibana, as well as her younger brother Naoto, are killed by the Tokyo Manji. When Takemichi is pushed towards the tracks of a train, he travels back in time exactly 12 years, to 2005. Takemichi returns to his high school years, and after revealing to Naoto that Hinata will die, Takemichi is suddenly transported to the present, creating a temporal paradox in which Naoto survives and is now a detective. Naoto deduces that Takemichi can travel 12 years into the past when they hold hands, and using his new knowledge, Takemichi decides to change the future to save Hinata’s life and his friends.
Previous seasons had differences in the number of episodes, with 24 for its first season and 13 for the second. As of now, it is unknown how many chapters the third will have, but more may be known in the coming days.
Tokyo Revengers Season 3 is expected to hook us even more with its powerful story, which progresses fantastically and possibly holds some things for a possible fourth season.
