Season 2 of The Saint's Magic Power is Omnipotent received a new trailer, a Japanese premiere date for October 3rd, a musical theme, and more cast information. As revealed in the latest promotional video, the series will air on Japanese television early in October. The clip also announced additional cast members and the series’ musical themes.
The newly announced cast includes Ryouta Oosaka as Oscar Dunckel, Chiaki Kobayashi as Ten’yuu, and Shinichirou Miki as Seiran. The trailer also showcases the three characters and the anime opening song, 'Semisweet Afternoon' by Aira Yuuki.

International broadcast information for season 2 of The Saint's Magic Power is Omnipotent was also confirmed in an announcement posted alongside the promotional video. The anime will return with its main cast from the first season, and most of the key staff members will also return, aside from those in some key positions.
The returning cast includes Yui Ishikawa as Sei Takanatsu, Takahiro Sakurai as Albert Hawke, Takuya Eguchi as Johan Valdec, Yuusuke Kobayashi as Yuri Drewes, Taku Yashiro as Jude, and Kana Ichinose as Aila Misono.
The returning staff from the first season include:
- Diomada returns as animation producer.
- Shouta Ihata as director.
- Wataru Watari as series composer.
- Masakazu Ishikawa (Aho Girl) as character designer.
- Tsutomu Miyazawa as creature designer.
- Yuki Hayashi as color designer, Yasuyuki Itou as director of photography.
- Kuroda Kenichi as music composer.
- Scott MacDonald (Love All Play) is the art director this time for season 2.
The second season of The Saint’s Magic Power is Omnipotent is based on Yuka Tachibana's light novel series, published by Kadokawa and illustrated by Yasuyuki Syuri. It was released in 2017, followed by a manga adaptation and a spin-off in 2017 and 2020, respectively. As of March 2023, there are 9 volumes of the light novels published under the Kadokawa Books label. In 2016, the story began as a web novel on Shousetsuka ni Narou.

Sei, a 20-year-old office worker, is transported to a completely new world. Unfortunately for Sei, the ritual that summoned her, intended to produce a "Saint" who would banish dark magic, brought two people instead of one. And everyone prefers the second girl to Sei? But Sei doesn’t mind, as it allows her to leave the royal palace and set up a potion and cosmetics manufacturing shop with her new magic. The business is booming, and after all, this might not be such a bad life...as long as her supposed sainthood doesn't come back to haunt her.
