My In-Laws Are Obsessed With Me tells the story of Pereshati Jahardt, the daughter of a count who remarried after her mother's death. When her father died, he bequeathed her his entire fortune. My in-laws are obsessed with me. It's a somewhat dark series, and I can say with certainty... I didn't like the art. Honestly, there are several stories with a more pleasant style, but I wasn't disappointed.
On the other hand, the structure and development of the characters; each one has their own very particular essence, but overall, it's not that remarkable. The protagonist needs a spark; at first, she's super fearful and shy, so I thought she'd be a rather flat character, but I liked the character's evolution, in which she gradually gains more confidence both in herself and in what she does.
As for the story, it starts in a somewhat typical way, a girl who, after her death, returns to the past and looks for a way to survive by searching for a duke she can marry by contract within a time limit. However, here they integrate other agents, such as a curse that affects all members of the family, and they show each relative with a particular story, their traumas... they show that despite having a strong and rigid appearance, they are also people affected by their insecurities and their problems. Overall, I like the story and I think it has great potential to captivate people. If you like these types of stories, you might like this one.
