At a time when happiness takes a backseat to a sense of duty, will she be able to protect her love and secure the survival of her family and business?
Synopsis
All the dark and offensive rumors about Serena Serenity sound true. Her body is too fragile and thin, her behavior is despotic and insolent, and she feels suffocated in her marriage. Despite this, the truth takes a little sleep from her. As the only heiress of the Hotel Serenity elite, she married an influential man named Eiser Leinz Grayan to save her family's legacy. But their union is merely by desire and whim of her grandmother. She never wanted to marry a man she doesn’t love.
Serena develops an obstinate and childish personality, feeling betrayed by her grandmother and rejected by her husband. As a final act of rebellion, she brings in Frederick Bloom, a handsome and obedient man who fulfills each of her desires. She flaunts him openly before all the aristocrats. Although she deeply appreciates the hotel and hopes to oust Eiser, she has no idea when it comes to business. However, a sudden change in Eiser's attitude causes her to mature, leaving her trapped between her adorable lover and her uncompromising husband.
Characters of Serena
Serena Serenity
She is the main character. She married Eiser at the request of her grandmother so that he could manage the hotel she inherited, as she herself does not know about business. Her marriage is not happy, and her affair with Frederick is well known to the public. Everyone who knows her describes her as extremely beautiful and dazzling.

Eiser Leinz Grayan
He is Serena's convenience husband, a complex and deep man. He has a cold and often distant personality. Despite their misunderstandings and the toxic dynamics of their relationship, Eiser assumes the role of his wife’s instructor. His main motive is that he sees her as a potential ally to help manage the hotel. This will allow him to focus on building another branch of the company.

Frederick Bloom
He is Serena's bodyguard and lover. She hired him to protect her from Eiser. Frederick initially approached her with bad intentions, but after spending more time together, he ended up falling in love with her.

Opinion about Serena
It is a quite attractive story both in art and plot. At first we are presented with an unpleasant, hysterical and spoiled protagonist, but little by little, both she and her relationship with Eiser improve. Revealing that not everything is as it seems and a high intimate chemistry develops between them.
The hotel plot and character development is quite interesting. Both the era and the characters have coherence and individuality. They have a typical character of the time in which they are located. Ultimately, it is a rather original and intense story that can be recommended if you are looking to read something similar to what has been described above.
