Do we bathe, your grace? tells the story of a girl who reincarnates as Nadia Goldgate, who has a delicate state of health. Immediately upon waking up, she notices smells she would never have smelled in her life. Horrified by being reborn into a romantic fantasy novel where bathing was abhorred and even "the cause of diseases".

Her only salvation and hope lies in the hands of Duke Cartine, the only man who doesn't stink! Marry me and we can bathe twice a day! Will he help her have a clean happy ending?

Characters from Do we bathe, your grace?

Main Characters

Nadia Goldgate

She is a girl with great charisma and cheerful but with a very delicate state of health due to an unknown illness. From the first moment she felt horrified by the smells she perceived. Even more so because they don't let her bathe due to her health condition. Everything changes when she meets Claude, who needed to bathe at least 2 times a day with hot water to be her dance partner.

This excited the protagonist so much that she openly declared that she loved it (the bath, but she couldn't say it like that so she used Claude). If Duke Cartina is her salvation to escape the disguised smells with perfume, she would gladly seek a way to stay by his side. Proposing marriage until he accepts.

Nadia, protagonista principal de ¿Nos bañamos su gracia?

Claude Cartane

He is the most rational and hygienic character in this story. It all started when he attended the war, being bathed in blood unleashed an instinct for hygiene that was nothing normal in his world (or era). He ends up as a great war hero who saved the north from a monster invasion and ended up inheriting the title of Duke. He rejects Nadia because he doesn't think they have enough time to develop any feelings in such a short time. However, she will show him her conviction.

Opinion of Do we bathe, your grace?

Do we bathe, your grace? is an interesting story that has its charm. We are talking about having something more sense than the other stories, because if we really see the issue of the Middle Ages, at that time hygiene is decadent and baths were not well seen. Now, the fact that they have made this fact a romantic comedy is very funny and entertaining.

To emphasize this comedy, the theme of a 21st-century girl who travels to a body that lost its soul in the Middle Ages, an era where hygiene is scarce, where people covered their smells with perfume. Honestly, I would act like the protagonist, feeling nauseous and stressed about not being able to bathe because the doctor gave a wrong diagnosis where the cause of her illness is by bathing (illogical).

On the other hand, there are scenes that leave me intrigued, like my distrust of Isaac (the protagonist's leading physician). He has an aura that really seems strange to me, it’s a hypothesis but I feel he is the real cause of her illness, what can he get out of it? As I say, it’s a hypothesis, if you read the story, tell me if I am wrong or if you agree.

Let's talk about other aspects like its art, the coloring delighted me, it gives it a fantastic touch, with tones that transmit happiness to you, its art is between pretty and sometimes neglected, but with that touch that gives it that comedic aspect. So far this manhwa is pleasant to me and I assure you that at least it will bring a smile to your face, tell me ¿would you dare to read this story? What do you like about this manhwa? I'll wait for your comments.
