The story takes place in a fantasy world, where we find ourselves in the empire of Ragnas. Our protagonist Lien is an exchange student at Arena Academy seeking a quiet life.
The heir to the Duchy of Lisianthus decides to seek out our protagonist so that she can join the club due to her reputation for being aloof, perfect so that her presence would not bother him but by twists of fate ends up falling in love with her at first sight. Carsion, who has the face of an innocent man, is a genius in magic who stands out both for his appearance and for his family. He only has one flaw: he is incredibly obsessive.
Lien can't help but feel drawn to Carsion as she looks at him like an adorable man, more than that, like a cat. Will this friendship develop without problems?

Lien (main protagonist of Friends don't do that)
She is a playful girl who tends to be manipulative but is also good. However, she has difficulty making friends and especially at Arena Academy, as she is a genius but being commoner, she doesn’t get along with the others. The fact of joining a club is incredibly tedious for her due to the issue of socializing, but it is a fundamental requirement to have good grades, that's when Carsian appears who, thanks to his beautiful face, manages to convince her to join his club.
She is very intelligent, she studied the effects of plants from a young age to cure her parents’ illness, however they died. She likes the club because literally she does nothing else than go to sleep and make bad taste jokes at Carsian due to his incredible expressions that give her more desire to tease him.
Carsion Lisianthus
Son of the Duke of Lisianthus, he is a talented mage with a great amount of mana. He uses his charms to get Lien to join his club so as not to be bothered by his infatuated fans. However, he becomes indignant because it didn’t seem like his charms were working, so he acted sullenly towards her. He blushes easily with our protagonist despite the many jokes she makes. Upon learning that she joined the club for his appearance, he realizes his feelings. He is very carried away by his feelings, so he sometimes acts like a grumpy person, falling into many misunderstandings.
Fjord
He is a noble whose greatest strength is fencing. He is a quiet and kind person. He ends up being one of the targets of Carsian’s aggression, since on many occasions when Lien speaks making jokes about “what her ideal type is” (one of the misunderstandings) and Carsian doesn't control his jealousy. He takes everyone as friends but recently feels something for our protagonist, something he denies out of fear of Carsian.

Friends don't do that, writes a fantasy story where they combine the modern era with medieval times, especially with the costumes and atmosphere. Everything is concentrated in a school, despite not being my style it is quite entertaining, its comedy can be simple but does not take away from the real fun.
Each of the characters give body to the story in a slow way but little by little they create that bond with the reader, especially the protagonist, who despite her tragic past, shows us that we can try to live life intelligently but giving it that playful touch. I feel that this story has a lot of potential and I hope it really reaches many people.
