Main Characters
Nadia Marsha Lancaster
Female main character. She is the youngest daughter of the Lancaster family, so she is highly protected by her parents and siblings. She is beautiful, kind and innocent. Upon receiving the marriage proposal, she accepts for fear that her family will be annihilated or endangered by the duke's status. However, she is still afraid to face head-on the person called beast. At first she shows fear and little by little she will realize that the duke is a "good and kind" person.

Luke Staten
He is the co-protagonist, he is the Duke of Staten. He is highly recognized for having inherited his title at a young age, since his father dies due to rebellions. His grandfather raises him in an unconventional way to protect the legacy of the duchy. He possesses a vast territory and enormous wealth, however he is someone about whom there are sinister rumors such as that he is a beast without blood or tears. He was engaged to Celia Modriya, but she treated him badly for his shabby appearance and they broke off the engagement.
He falls in love at first sight with Nadia for being so kind and innocent, comparing her multiple times as an angel. He would do anything for Nadia, even cutting off his "little friend" (his reproductive organ) to not hurt her.

Opinion of "I married the duke called Beast"
"I married the duke called Beast" is an interesting story, it is one of the few that I have read without being an isekai or reincarnation themes. The plot is between funny and romantic, seeing it from a more innocent point of view to show that there can still be hope in that type of demonstration of affection that many women expect. Although it seems to be only encompassed by the main characters, they show a great variety of characters along with their points of view, but this will be seen later when the main characters have more relationship between them.
The plot is simple, set in an ancient time. The protagonist who was raised in a bubble, where she has no contact with external malice and is overprotected by her family, must marry a man she does not know but surrounded by many terrifying rumors. But that man whom she feared so much was completely different from what they told her.
He treats her like a princess and cares about her very much. As the story progresses, events will be seen that will make them interact more and their feelings will be tested before them and their families. On the other hand, the drawings are well done although not so remarkable.
If you are interested in simple stories, tender romance but with a touch of comedy, without sexual content (unless explicit) this is a great option for you. So, what do you think of this story?
