Her family never gave her the opportunity to learn properly about magic, however she strengthened herself with the help of a professor who valued her talent. She handles accounting matters and management of the duchy, duties that corresponded to her mother and brother. She falls madly in love with Duke Candel, seeing him as a work of art, sexy and charismatic, she also considers him someone with a lot of experience in romance.

Duke of Candel, a rich man from a prestigious family of the Karshan empire, but submerged in a curse in which his skin will rot and smell like decaying corpses. He nicknames our protagonist “Rie”. He is the son of a prostitute and lived on the streets, generating a cruel and sanguinary personality, an aspect he does not want to show Loriette.
Opinion of "I Thought I Had an Expiration Date"
I Thought I Had an Expiration Date, is a cute story with lots of comedy, I must say that despite having a cliché premise, it has its charm which is undeniable. Notably the innocence and charisma of our protagonist gives that comedic touch, between her facial expressions and misunderstandings.
The art, well, I have to point out that I love it, it uses very charming nuances. The drawings are very well proportioned anatomically speaking and you can clearly differentiate the characters. The context and background of each character is incredibly noticeable and in some cases makes you get angry a lot like for example the protagonist's father, sexist to the tip of his tongue. You feel like entering the screen and giving them what they deserve.
In short, it is an interesting story that I recommend with my eyes closed, each turn and approach will make you laugh in this love triangle.
