Characters of The villain is shy about receiving affection
Melody (main protagonist of The villain is shy about receiving affection)
Melody is the daughter of a slave merchant, when she was very young she had a nightmare about her past life. As the years go by, she discovers that her dreams are happening as if they were a novel and realizes that if they continue like this, her life and her mother’s life would be in danger. So she decides to try to get along with the protagonist so as not to receive the duke's punishment.
What she didn’t plan is for Loretta to become so fond of her that she takes her to the duke’s mansion. From here, she has to cope with each member of the Baldwin family and not only that, but also deal with the council of elders who don’t want her in the duchy and her mother imprisoned who hates her.

Loretta Baldwin
She is the female protagonist of the novel, at 5 years old she loses her mother in a carriage accident. She loses the memory of who her mother was and takes refuge in Melody, who helps her cope with the abuse of the woman who kidnapped her. At first she wasn’t accepted in the duchy due to multiple scams, however they see that she is really the duke's daughter so she becomes fully loved by the family.

Wayne Baldwin
Duke. He has 3 sons and a daughter. At first he treats Loretta and Melody from afar but they approached him and he begins to treat them with care (although they don’t notice) he is very worried about Melody, about her tragic story with her mother, so he treats her as if she were his daughter, although he is a little clumsy in doing so.

Claude Baldwin
The first brother of Loretta, from the first moment they interacted, they became very close, he is extremely protective of his little sister, to such an extent that he feels jealous of Melody and for this reason at first he treats her badly. He tends to do mischief and involve Melody in his affairs by playing, but despite all this, he appreciates and cares a lot about our protagonist.

Ronnie Baldwin
The second brother of Loretta, he initially mistreats the girls. He is a little clumsy to express himself but ends up being one of the best friends and allies of our girls. He likes the feeling of having a little sister and tends to blush with Melody. Sometimes he feels useless because he doesn’t have any special abilities like his brothers but Loretta encourages him a lot.

Jeremiah Baldwin
The third son of the duke, he is known for his great talent with magic, he is studying in the magic tower. He detests his family especially his mother because the last memory he has of her is that she wanted to kill him, in a context that the duke has not yet clarified. Ronnie is proud that Jeremiah is his brother and despite this he tells him hurtful things. However, he apologizes even though it’s difficult for him to express himself, he ends up telling his brother that he is attracted to Melody.

Opinion of The villain is shy about receiving affection
The villain is shy about receiving affection, tells about a healing upbringing... in quotes. It shows an avalanche of consequences if we act badly towards others just because they are smaller and more defenseless.
Besides the message, its art is quite visually pleasing, the scenes are charming as well as making you angry and even makes you cry just thinking that there are people who do not sympathize with anyone, even because they are children.
It's one of those stories that despite having a calm script, maintains a certain mystery, like what really happened to Jeremiah? or what is the reason why his mother wanted to kill him? although I still doubt the latter but they haven’t really given an answer to this doubt. Apart from that, it is one of those stories that are entertaining but not for reading it all at once, if you want to spend the time, relax without putting so much adrenaline, this is a good option.
